Declaration
#include <xtos/bci.h>
int xtos_bci_start(xtos_bci_session_t *session);Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| session | xtos_bci_session_t * | Non-NULL session handle. |
Return value
Returns 0 and sets streaming after ioctl success; returns -1 without setting it on failure.
Errors
| errno | Condition |
|---|---|
| EINVAL | session is NULL, or the driver rejects the argument or state. |
| ENOTTY/EOPNOTSUPP | The device does not support the ioctl or XTOS BCI start capability. |
| system errno | Preserves driver or system errno from ioctl failure. |
Notes
- Actual acquisition, permissions, and hardware capability are driver-defined; 0 only means the ioctl succeeded.
- The session has no concurrency lock; do not race this call with stop, destroy, or configuration.
