Declaration
#include <xtos/bci.h>
int xtos_bci_reset_stats(xtos_bci_session_t *session);Parameters
| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| session | xtos_bci_session_t * | Non-NULL session handle. |
Return value
Returns the underlying ioctl’s 0 or -1.
Errors
| errno | Condition |
|---|---|
| EINVAL | session is NULL or the driver rejects the request. |
| ENOTTY/EOPNOTSUPP | The device does not support resetting statistics. |
| system errno | Preserves driver or system errno from ioctl failure. |
Notes
- Reset is a device-side operation that may race production; interpret before/after counts according to driver semantics.
- The function allocates no memory, returns no pre-reset snapshot, and provides no concurrency lock.
